Why UTUC?

Upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is a rare, aggressive cancer of the renal pelvis and ureter. It has historically received a fraction of the research attention and funding directed at more common cancers. As a result, early detection is limited, and although UTUC arises in a different organ and behaves differently from bladder cancer, it is often treated as a variant of it, leading to worse patient outcomes.

That is unacceptable and targeted, strategic investment can change it.

Beemok Health Labs is an initiative of Beemok, the family office of Ben and Kelly Navarro, created with a singular focus: to fund dedicated UTUC research and clinical trials, and to connect the experts who can move the science forward.
